Greetings from Oklahoma, Patrick. I'm a pushover for monastery photos. I rarely pass up an opportunity to take one (just ask Karin Bourassa). I must say that I am especially fond of the one of Solovetskiy Monastery in the White Sea -- partly the scene, and partly, I suppose, my appreciation of the fact that this is, by any standard, an outpost of civilization in general and Christianity in particular.
