Message from Deems Burton
I began my adventure into photography in 1964 with a crude Kodak Brownie style box camera. In 1973 I stepped up to 35mm with a Nikkormat FTN system and exclusely used Kodachrome 64 for 30 years to document all of my life's adventures. In 2003 I moved into the digital format, with a simple 3.2megapixel Canon A70 camera. Recently I upgraded to a Canon Pro1 camera. With this small gallery, I am able to share these simple digital snapshots; and hopefully, in time, I will be able to begin scanning my library of Kodachrome slides, which are my best artistic expressions... as with life, even art must move forward in small steps... I hope you enjoy my world as I have seen it recently
