Michael,

Excellent work from A to Z, including concept, composition, implementation, execution and post processing. Did I leave anything out? Oh, and sharing your vision with the world. These images would make a great book, get printing.
You have inspired me tremendously. Thanks.

Trying to buy your D700 listed on the FM but it seems like you haven't checked the PM that I sent from there. Please check your PM if you still want to sell it. Thanks. Michael

Thank you, Michael, for sharing such wonderful images! I accept your apologies for the McDonald's that has finally reached us too... But I'm impressed by the real treasures that America still has to give! This is marvellous! I will come back often!

Very nice photots of Southeast Asia and the American Southwestern Desert. Judging from your eye for desert scenery, you are going to LOVE Baja. As for that road south of Puertecitos, the "quality" varies with each rain storm and each passing of a SCORE Baja race. I've been on it when it was highway smooth and there have been other times that it could shake teeth loose, even at 10mph. Enjoy! And please, take lots of photos!

The guns are toys, not real. Feel free to download the photo. The caves are closer to Monywa than Mandalay, you'll have to hire a car to go there. I flew into Yangon, then up to Mandalay. Had a great time there!

Wonderful pics in Myanmar. Can you tell me where the Hpo Win Daung caves are? What was your point of entry? I have had trouble getting across the border at Mae Sai. Can I have permission to download the pic of the children with handguns? I was very shocked by that as most Asians aren't so blantantly armed and never children, at least since the Khmer Rouge was disbanded in Cambodia. Where was that? If I use it (never for profit) I would give you credit in whatever form you want. The guns are real, right? One (on the left) appears to be a real .45 caliber Auto. Excellent work.

Incredibly beautiful shots. Wonderful composition, technical ability and most of all you've got a natural aesthetic sense that lends itself to taking top notch photography.

I enjoyed the photos you took, especially the ones in Death Valley! Your shots are able to fully witness all the emotions of the places you have been.

Keep travelling and picture our world!

Michael,
Your photos are beautiful! I've been researching photos of Cambodia, and yours are some of the best I've seen.

I work for a non-profit agency in St. Paul, Minnesota that serves families from Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos. I'm putting together a presentation about the Cambodian holocaust to help educate our children about what their parents and relatives went through during that time, and to help them understand the history and culture of Southeast Asia. I found your web site while working on this project. With your permission, I would like to use some of the photos in your Cambodia album for my presentation. Would that be OK?

Thanks for considering this request.

Hi,

I've just been on your website and i just wanted to say that you have some amazing pictures. I am a student journalist currently studying at the London College of Printing, London, England and in groups have just been given a travel assignment to do.

My group have decided to write a piece about traveling to South America, Asia and Africa and recommend places you should visit. Obviously we need some striking pictures to accompany the article and on your website you have an amazing picture of the Skulls at Tuol Sleng.

I was wondering if we would be able to use this picture. The picture will only appear in the university newspaper that the students produce. Obviously you will be listed as the source of pictures in the piece, but as we are students we can not afford to pay for use of the pictures.

I am very keen to use one of your pictures as i feel they will have the a great affect on the readers.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and i will look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks and regards

Remi Giambrone

Loved the tuk tuk hell section. Brought back brilliant memories of hanging on for dear life in the back of a tuk tuk, almost chokeing to death from the pollution, knowing that at the end of it I would overcharged some ridiculous amount. Brilliant!

Hi Michael,
came here from LP and were stunned by your excellent work of photography. I love
the Bangkok and Cambodia sections. What equipment do you use, also for scanning?
I know, quality doesn't matter always but it helps to get better images sometimes :)

Thanks
